It's that time of month where we all share what yummy wines we've been drinking. This month's Wino Wednesday crept up on me - time really needs to slow down!
You know how much I love my red blends, and Rhiannon 2014 red blend fit the bill. My husband came home with this bottle for me a couple of weeks ago and I was so excited to try it. It is a blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Barbera Of course I loved it. It had a deep semi sweet flavor which is exactly what I love.
The winemaker's notes are "Rhiannon is a delicious blend of Petite Sirah, Syrah, and Barbera with bright mixed berry aromas layered with expressive toasty oak. The palate is lush with black berry, Bing cherry, raspberry. Deep ruby color with a lush mouth-feel and long finish."
This is the perfect wine to entertain with this winter, it's warm and delicious and can be bought for about $10 a bottle - a win in my book!
Have any of you tried this wine before? Have you all transitioned to red wines yet with the chilly weather?
Linkup below with Lindsay and I and share what you've been drinking - I can't wait to hear your yummy recommendations!

Haven't tried this one that I know of. I drink red wine anytime during the year. Will be adding this is my must try list for the holidays. I agree with you, time is going to fast. I find I have to be thinking of this monthly post weeks ahead to get it done on time. Thanks for another month of great wine drinking.
Have not tried this one but definitely transitioned to reds. So yummy with all the holiday food.
Ok, I'm determined to start trying more reds this fall/winter. I keep waiting for it to get cooler out but I think I'm just going to have to start trying them even though it's not really cool out! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
I love reds once it gets cold out. I haven't had this one (there are so many wines out there!!!) but one of my favorites is Apothic Red. I could drink that every day and not get sick of it!
I've slowly warmed up to red wines so I'm excited to try this one out!! Thanks for the great review! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston
Sounds good! I'll look for this one. Have you heard of Vivino? If you haven't, its a wine app. You can take a picture of a bottle of wine and it will tell you all about it, and give ratings and reviews. Chris uses it all of the time and we have found some great wines with it!! Thanks for sharing and cheers!! :-)
Reds warm me up!! This looks like a goodie!! I just got a terrific Moscato at Eataly in Chicago and I'm saving it for good, what? No, now that I said that I'm going to drink it tonight, ha ha
I love a blend! I think they're always my favorite. I love the name and the bottle, because why else buy wine?!
I'm just getting back into drinking reds for the season, and always love a good red blend <3
Green Fashionista
i need to buy a couple bottles for people for christmas - i'll keep a look out for this one!
Since I'm not a red drinker I always love hearing recommendations so I know what to buy for guests!
Mmm! This sounds delicious and for only $10 is a deal!
Yum this looks good! I need to see if they have it around here :)

This sounds like one I may need to try. I drink reds and whites yearly. Just depends on the mood.
