Kids Spring Style

Spring has to be my favorite time for kids clothes, everything is always so cute and bright. A couple of days ago my cousin and I went into Old Navy and I fell in love with so many things. They are having a sale now, 40% off of kids clothes with the code flykids.  And there is free shipping for any orders over $50 for all of my online shopper friends out there.

There's nothing I love more than finding cute things for a steal of a deal.  I can look around the web for the longest time finding cute inexpensive things - there are so many awesome things for $15 and under!   I've rounded up some cute things I've found while looking around the web.  There's something for everyone... well mostly for girls ;) but you get my drift. 


The parenting book is $16 - but well worth that extra dollar for new parents, I spent my whole pregnancy and first few months after my daughter was born reading books on what to expect - they are a lifesaver!

What I've Purchased | Fall Sales

I don't know about you, but I have not been able to resist these Fall sales - they have been too good.  I (of course) hit up the Nordstrom Fall Clearance Sale and picked up a few goodies and then took advantage of Express' sale too.  I haven't received my items yet, but wanted to share with you what I bought!


Let's start with Nordstrom.  The Fall sale is one I can never say no to, there are SO many cute things and you can't beat the 40% off.  I got a pair of dressy sandals, a dress for an upcoming wedding, a couple of cute dresses and tops!  Now, I just hope everything fits :)

At Express I went a little more trendy, which I'm excited about!  I can't WAIT to try the leggings, they're going to look so cute with these boots - which are at a steal for $39.99 - they still have a few sizes left, so I'd scoop them up if you can!

Have you guys bought anything from the Fall sales?  I think I made out well with the sale prices.  It's always fun to freshen up your closet a bit at the start of a new season.

7 Cute Things Under $10

As I was looking around a few stores online, you know window shopping - I came across a few things that were not only cute but cheap!  They would be perfect to switch up your wardrobe a bit or to add some fun small decorative pieces to your house.

This top is so cute and I love the pattern, the back of the top is adorable too!

I love the way this top falls and it would be perfect for wearing alone or adding a cute blazer to it.

You all know I love a cute romper, this one is so cute and only $7.90 - holla!  It's sold out right now, but I'm going to keep my eye out.

I'm a fan of the sea urchins on top of mantles and books, but I think this ceramic knot in gold is so cute too.

This metallic candle holder is so cute too, I love a few pops of gold around the house.  It would be perfect for a housewarming gift too.

 

This set of aqua wine glasses would be perfect for entertaining out on the patio or by the pool!

Nordstrom Sale Favorites $50 and Under

As much as I love clothes and shopping, I love a good bargain.  I am not a person that can drop $200 on a pair of jeans, I just can't.  Don't get me wrong, I know they're awesome, and probably fit like a glove and yada, yada - but it would pain me to spend that much on one article of clothing.

I have always loved Nordstrom, I shop at their Rack whenever I have the opportunity - I also love when they have their half yearly sales, because they always have great buys.  Here are a few of my picks of $50 or less:

I'm all about dainty jewelry and layering - this pendant fits the bill and is so pretty!

DV by Dolce Vita 'Poise' Bootie Wedge

These booties are perfect and at such a steal!  Sadly, I got to these too late, they no longer have my size!

ASTR Wrap Front Jumpsuit

This baby is in my shopping cart, I'm in love with this jumpsuit!

Kate Spade Square Stud Earrings

Another shopping cart item - I've been wanting these for way too long, but always get stumped on which color to buy.  Any suggestions?!  I think I'm leaning towards the pink/gold... but then again there's a good chance I may change my mind again!

As  mom, I can never have enough tee's and I'm loving this one - it falls so nicely and looks so soft.

30 Day Closet Remix Challege

I decided to join Natalie with her 30 Day Closet Remix Challenge!  I wanted to see how much I end up saving not buying any clothing for 30 days.  I don't consider myself a big shopper (or much of a fashionista for that matter), but I have a feeling I'm going to be pleasantly surprised when my credit card statement comes next month!

If I don't plan on leaving the house, I don't really get dressed much except yoga pants and a shirt, so I don't have eight outfits to show you - here are the outfits I've put together in the last few days.  I'm all about dressing comfortable and most of the time you can find me in jeans, as you will see!

This challenge has helped me come out of my comfort zone a bit - I wore these shorts a couple of days ago, it was a big deal (for me) because I never wear shorts, I've always had a complex about my skinny legs. I'm happy I did because these cute shorts have been sitting in my closet with the tags on for a long time, and I think they're adorable!

I'm having so much fun doing this, and I can't wait to see what else I come up with... and curious to see if I'll get the urge to shop.

Good morning!

I hope you all had a great weekend!  We did - nothing too exciting, but it was relaxing and fun!  One of my  favorite things to do is to go on Etsy and see all of the different handmade things that they have.  Here are some of my favorites:

one: Gold Bar Necklace:  I've been eying these type of necklaces for a while.  I love how dainty they are - they're perfect for layering or just wearing as is!

two: Aromatherapy Lavender & Chamomile Soy Candle - How pretty is that candle?!  I love how rustic it looks and that it is a soy candle.  All of the soy candles I've had burn so nice and clean, and the smell really permeates the house!

three:  Monogrammed Acrylic Makeup Organizer - I have been on the hunt for a makeup organizer for a while.  The ones I wanted are sold out.  I think this one is so pretty and love that it's monogrammed!  I think after almost 10 years of marriage it's time for me to get something monogrammed, right?!

four: Life Print - Love this print, love the message - such a great reminder!

five:  Elastic Hair Ties - These hair ties are so pretty, and I love that E and I can share them!  Not to mention, I LOVE the way the shop owner packages them.  Check it out, it's so pretty and personalized!

My Pinterest Summer Closet

Happy Tuesday!  It's another horribly stormy and rainy day here.  We had one nice day yesterday and today the rain is back.  Although Florida is the "Sunshine State" our summers are very wet.  Hello hurricane season!

Even though it's raining a lot lately, I can't help but fill my Pinterest closet with tons of fun summer clothes!

Here are a few things that I'm loving:

I think this Anthro Zinke Starboard Swimsuit is SO cute!  I don't know how I'd look in a one piece since I'm so thin, I'm scared I'd look like a 10 year old in it haha.  But if I were to buy a one piece, I think this one would be it.

I love this Double Mint Jumper and will be buying it soon.  Everything about it is perfect - the color, style and the open back.  

This Esther Side Slit Maxi will be another purchase in the near future - this dress is perfection and would be great for our anniversary trip later in the year.
