Friday Favorites (2/26)

Yay for the weekend!  I'm so excited for a couple of days with family, friends and to relax a bit, Fridays are always happy days!

one | To say that I am obsessed with this Olivia Palermo + Chelsea 28 wide leg jumpsuit is an understatement.  It's such a cute piece!  It can be worn to a dinner out, date night, a party or just when you want to look plain ol' adorable!

 

 two | Fuller House starts tonight and the 90's kid in me cannot wait!  I mean, what was better than the TGIF lineup and now to have a little taste of it again is going to be so cool!  My daughter is also equally as excited; she watches the re-runs daily!

four | Amanda  posted a great piece yesterday on How to Work With Brands For Your Blog.  She gave so much great advice and if you're struggling to partner with some brands or don't know where to begin, this post is for you!

Friday Favorites (2/19)

TGIF!  I hope you have all had a good week.  This week went by really fast, but I'm not complaining it was nice to have a 4 day week and spend some extra time with my kids - is there a way to make that a permanent thing? ;)  I'm counting down the days for Spring Break so we can all lounge together at home.

one |  Everyone keeps saying so many great things about the Naked 2 Basics Eye Shadow Palette, and I'm contemplating if I should get it too.  I have Naked palettes 1, 2 & 3 but love how compact this is and perfect fro traveling.  I'm also loving this Urban Decay bronzer set - that pink looks perfect for Spring!

two |  This watch is giving me all of the heart eyes!  It's so different looking and the color of the leather band is perfect!

Happy Friday friends!!

I hope everyone has had a great week! We are FINALLY on the mend from our colds which is a good thing - just in time for the weekend!!

one | I had to share this picture of J - we were hanging up pictures in his room, turned around and saw him in the bed like this.  It was a total picture perfect moment! He's such a character! 

two |  Doesn't this recipe for Thai lettuce wraps look amazing? I've never thought to make lettuce wraps for dinner, but may have to now.  I love Thai food!

three | How pretty is this space?  So light and airy and the gallery wall is on point! Check out the entire home tour here,  it's all SO pretty.

four | There are a couple of good sales going on today - Nordstrom started their winter Sale - everything is up to 40% off.

For all of my Chip and Joanna Gains fans their Magnolia Market is having 40% off selected merchandise - it's almost like having Jo decorate a little bit of your house when you buy from there, right?  I'd like to think so ;)

five |  I'm dying to try these Champagne Soaked Gummy Bears.  Have any of you tried making them before?  They look super easy and delicious!

Happy Friday!

It has been a rainy week here in Florida,  but today we're forecasted to have some sun and slightly cooler temps - I'm looking forward to some sunshine!

I'm getting right into my favorites for this week!

one:  I went a little crazy on Target.com (hello rainy weather boredom) and  ordered a bunch of pillows to try out in our family room.  I kind of want to implement some brighter colors - so I hope these end up working.  I swear I have a throw pillow addiction!

two:  I tried this recipe for Parmesean Chicken Cutlets last night and it was easy, delicious and perfect for a quick meal - bonus points that it's from Ina Garten!

three:  Wednesday is a big day!  Not only is it Wino Wednesday and Lindsay and I would love for our fellow wine loving friends to link up their favorite wines, but we are also launching an Instagram series!  We will be posting every Wednesday a picture of something that we're passionate about and using the hashtag #LovelyStyledLife.  We would love for you all to join us on the fun!  For more details on the series click here.

 

four: Totally crushing on this beautiful space I found on pinterest - I'm a sucker for white and bright!  I love all of the incorporated textures too

Friday Favorites (1/22)

 

Happy Friday y'all!!  I'm watching Fixer Upper as I type this, so the y'all is totally appropriate ;).  This week went by pretty quickly with Monday being a holiday.  I think four day weeks should be a thing!

In true Friday fashion, I'm going to share my favorites from the week!

one:  I'm obsessed with Bethany Frankel's shed turned woman cave.  It was shown on last week's episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and it was so cute!  It's a place for her and her girlfriend's to hang out, have drinks and catch up. I couldn't find any pictures of the inside, but trust me it was was adorable!

two:  I had been on the hunt for some leopard heels for a while.  I saw these on Express.com and ordered them.  They are so pretty and comfortable.  I've been pairing them with everything lately!

three:  I chopped off my hair yesterday and went for a "lob".  It was time for a change, my hair had been the same for a few years.  It's funny how a new hairstyle instantly refreshes your look.  I'm looking forward to having less hair to style when I wash it - blowing out my hair is always a chore.

four:  So many good posts were written this week.  A coupe of my favorites were:

• Katie Elizabeth's 10 Things To Do For Your Blog In The New Year - she gave some great pointers on how to brush up your blog and make it more reader friendly.
• Love and Bellini's  Spaghetti Aglio e Olio with Cheesy Broiled Tomatoes.
   I often make spaghetti agilio e olio (Italian for spaghetti with garlic and olive oil) when I want something comforting to eat.  It is comfort in a bowl and takes minutes to make.  When I read her post, I had to have it for dinner!  The tomatoes were a new recipe for me and oh my word were they delicious!  They will be a repeat around here!

one |  Thanks to Jenn, I also ordered this tunic, it was a little too perfect not not to buy it, plus it's 40% off so it was like basically begging me to hit that purchase button ;)

two | My mother-in-law went to the Kate Spade outlet and picked this beauty up for me for $78!!  I love it!  It fits so many things and I love that the zippers go all of the way down so that everything is pretty easily accessible!

three |  Tell me this kitchen is all sorts of perfect.  I swoon over a clean white kitchen, and can't wait for the day we re-do ours.

four |  I loved this article on "10 Things To Try for A  DSLR Beginner" since I'm trying to learn how to use my camera better.

Happy Fri-YAY!

I hope you all have had a great week.  It's been a rainy, but good one here.  Seriously,  it's December and it's rainy and humid here - we still haven't gotten the Winter memo in Florida.

one:  Since it's been raining so much, I decided to order a pair of rain boots.  Our backyard floods so much so these are much needed when taking the dog out or just being out and about in general.  As much as I'd love a pair of Hunter's I can't justify the price, especially with all of the Black Friday and Cyber Monday shopping.  I ordered these off of Target and they get great reviews!  This lady even compared them to Hunter's - she says she owns Hunters and these are almost as good and are a fraction of the price, so we'll see when I get them!

one |  Can we talk about how beautifully styled this bar cart is?!  It looks like it was effortlessly styled too which I love, and all of the pink makes me happy!
