Hello December!
To say that this year has flown by, is an understatement! It's been a good year so far and one with big changes, like our daughter starting school - it's crazy how time flies.
Now that winter is approaching, I'm getting excited for all things chilly and cuddly. Fall and Winter are the months that we really get to enjoy the outdoors. Most days are mildly cool and a few times we'll have weather in the 30s and 40's. I've made a bucket list of things that I'm excited to do with our family and friends in the next few months.
- camp outside with the kids
- have fires in our backyard
- make s'mores and roast marshmallows
- open the windows at home and let the cool are come in
- chilly family walks
- trying new soups
- winter vacation!!
- make paper snowflakes with the kids
- bake cookies with the kids
- drink hot chocolate (or red wine) by the fire with friends
- dine al fresco
- take a walk on the beach
Another fun thing I'm looking forward to is helping Christina at Christina Lea Loves celebrate her second blogiversary, myself and some other fabulous gals teamed up for an exciting giveaway. We're giving away a bunch of Lilly Pulitzer goodies {including a $60 gift card, wine tote, wine coaster and set of two stemless wine glasses}. The giveaway will run through next Monday, December 7th. Enter via the rafflecopter below and remember, every link is one entry closer to winning!

Great winter list, lady! Winter is my least favorite season, so it's fun to celebrate the good thing she brings, right?!!? Cheers to a fun giveaway!
So many great things you have planned for this winter - I love roasting marshmallows, but sadly we can't sit outside as it's way too cold lol! xo, Biana -BlovedBoston

How do you camp in the cold? Do you use a tent, a heater? I like camping but never done it in the winter.
Fun bucket list! I can't wait to have some s'mores this year!

Yes to your winter bucket list! Although I wish we could add things like sledding and having snowball fights but I guess that won't be happening any time soon haha! I've already started making new soups even though it's not that cold yet. I couldn't wait! <3, Pamela Sequins & Sea Breezes
These are so good! We started doing the windows one last month and haven't even lit our pilot light yet for our heat, it's really been nice and saved a lot on money! Winter vacations are the best!

I love your Winter check list! So many things on it that are perfect to do where it isn't freezing! I am totally jealous!
If winter stays in the 30s and 40s here, that would be wonderful!!! Haha. Love this list but # 10 is my favorite! :-)
Sounds like a fabulous winter is ahead! Totally jealous that your winter can include walks on the beach!! I need to get planning a warm weather vacation ;)
You have so much to look forward to this winter! I love all of the outdoor ideas: camping, dinner, s'mores, and baking cookies with my mom was always a favorite!
I'm defintiely read for the cooler weather here in FL. Wine by the fire pit sounds like my kind of party!
Such a fun list, so much to look forward to! Wine by the fire pit and camping in the backyard sound like something I need to do soon too <3
