Wishlist Wednesday | Fall Essentials

Happy hump day!

It has been a while since I shared a wishlist and this Fall there are quite a few things on my wishlist!

Once the weather gets a little cooler (or A LOT cooler) I want to freshen up my wardrobe by adding a few fun pieces.  There are so many things that have my eye...

I would love to get a plaid scarf - I think it goes with so much! I mean, how cute would it look with that striped long sleeved shirt? It makes my pattern mixing loving heart happy!

I also want a chunky sweater that doesn't swallow me, I've yet to find one but am on the the hunt! And both of those shoes would be perfect! I love that the booties have an open back, so when the weather does warm up - lets face it by lunch time it's usually in the low 70's on our "cold days" - there is some air circulation!

Also, a new nail polish (or two) and lipstick are a must!

My Last 5 Purchases

I've come across a few gems in my shopping in the last few months.  I thought I'd share a few of my favorites, most of which are from Nordstrom, shocker I know.  I can't seem to get enough of Nordy's lately.

one | Lush Knit Maxi Dress - I bought this in the Nordstrom Friends & Family sale.  I still need to have it hemmed (everything is always long on me) but I already know that I'm going to love wearing this dress.  It's very lightweight and super comfortable.

two | Kendra Scott Arden 'Station Cuff"  - This cuff is GORGEOUS!  I love the way it shines as the light catches it and I also love how simple it is, simple elegance.  This cuff is on lots of repeat!

three | BP Glided Edge Stone Pendant Necklace - Yet another Nordstrom find.  This beauty is under $9.  It's great for layering or wearing on it's own.  My favorite part is that both sides of the pendant are the stone so it doesn't matter if it gets turned over, it still looks fine (this happens to people with kids, ha).

four | Printed Crepe Shirt Dress - We all know that Target has been killing it this season.  I found this dress last week and love it.  It looks way prettier in person and it's so comfortable - I wore it all day last Friday.

five | Lucite Makeup Organizer - I found these organizers at TJ Maxx and they have been heaven sent!  My makeup was out of control the way it was organized before, and I could never find anything!  These are half the price of most lucite organizers and I can finally see all that I have!  Double win!

Pretty In Pink

Back when I did my survey, one of the things that a few readers asked was to see more style posts.  I was flattered because I don't really consider myself to be much of a fashionista.  But you asked and you shall receive ;)

Most of the times when I'm home during the week I either have comfy pants (leggings, yoga pants, sweats) on and a shirt. If I'm going out then I'll go with a maxi dress, or jeans and a top.  I keep it pretty simple and comfortable, especially now that it's getting so HOT down here!

If I'm going on a date night or out with the girls I spruce it up a bit.  I like to dress up a little for the occasion and put on a little more makeup than I normally do.  It's fun to dress up!

I bought this Loft top a few weeks back and LOVE it.  It's dainty, blush and can easily be dressed up or down or worn with a cute jean jacket on top of.  The options are endless with this top!

For this look I decided to pair it with some boyfriend jeans (Loft doesn't sell mine anymore - similar ones here),  a pair of heels and stackable bracelets - always stackable bracelets, I can't get enough of them!

Style Crush: Jumpsuits

Jumpsuits have become my favorites to wear for a while now.  Ever since I bought my first one (and this one after); I've been on the jumpsuit train, and I don't plan on getting off anytime soon!  They are so easy to wear, can be dressed up or down and are perfect for going out in the hot Florida weather.

I've rounded up some of my favorites for this Spring/Summer.  I'm particularly crushing on the green ones and the cute embroidered white one.  Although you can't go wrong with the floral print or the one with scalloped detail!

Trend Crush: Boho

I've never considered my style to be Boho at all, but lately I'm seeing that certain pieces have been sticking out to me.  I'm finding the pieces to be cute and like the idea of throwing in one or two boho things to an outfit to give it a whole new look, or a fun touch.

All the pieces that I've seen look super comfortable to wear everyday and are pretty versatile and can be dressed up for a day at the office or dressed down for a stay-at-home mom running errands (me!).
