Rake Wine Rack

While doing our landscaping our rake broke; just as I was about to throw it away my friend reminded me of a pin that we had seen to turn a rake head into a wine glass rack - genius!  I pondered for a while whether to paint the rake and get rid of the rust stains or to keep them seeing as my dining room as a slight rustic look.

Finally I told JZ just to hang it and if I decided it needed to be painted I'd take it down and paint it.  We hung it up a few days ago and I'm loving how it looks on my wall.  I had to move up my wine cork shadow box, and the sign I had up a few inches so that the glasses didn't hang too low where the kids could feel inclined to touch them and possibly brake them. I'm debating whether the wall needs some more accessories (what do you think?), but I'm happy with it for now.

How do you all think it looks?  I don't think I'm going to paint it, you can barely see the rust and the parts you can see I like.

I love this! I don't think you should paint it at all! I love the rustic look of it instead of looking brand new! I totally want to do this!

LOVE it! I say don't paint it - the rustic look is perfect! And I don't think the wall needs anything else.. it may start to look cluttered with more stuff!
