Weekend!

Happy Monday!

I hope you all had a great weekend, we had a busy but fun one.  Friday was the first day that I got out of the house since the kids had been sick all week long. It was so nice to get in to normal clothes and have a change of scenery We ventured out to the mall and had so much fun shopping and going to the Disney Store.

After we got back from the mall I got the most shocking email from Parenting Magazine.com that they featured Kids and Cabernet on their weekly mom blog round up - whaaat?!  Me?!  I was so caught off guard and so honored, especially since the other blogs featured were a lot bigger than mine.  You can find my mini feature here!  Later in the evening my mom came over and then once the kids went to bed JZ and I headed out to meet our friends at a restaurant to have some appetizers.


On Saturday we went to our good friend's house for dinner.  They made the most amazing dinner on the grill: grilled portabello mushrooms, eggplant, fish, steak, and Greek salad.   We sat outside and ate on the patio and enjoyed the nice breeze and beautiful sunset. We always feel so spoiled when we go to their house.

Yesterday was spent with my future sister-in-law.  We grabbed Mexican food for lunch and went shopping at a beautiful outdoor mall for jewelry and shoes for her bridal shower dress.


It was a really awesome weekend!  I hope you all have a great Monday :)
