I made the BEST and EASIEST recipe the other night - Balsamic Slow Cooker Beef. I found the recipe on Pinterest a while back and finally decided to make it. I made a couple of changes because I didn't have everything on hand and even with that, it tasted amazing and was so tender. We served it alongside mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach with garlic and parmesan cheese, it was fabulous!
Ingredients
The lighting here is awful, but you get the general idea...
Ingredients
4-5lb beef chuck roast
1 cup beef broth (I used chicken broth, it's all I had on hand)
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
3 cloves garlic, pressed
1 cup beef broth (I used chicken broth, it's all I had on hand)
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
3 cloves garlic, pressed
1 tsp. Worshisher sauce -- I added this to the recipe since I didn't have beef broth, I felt it would add some "beefy taste"
Instructions
Whisk together all the ingredients and add to the bottom of a slow cooker - add roast

Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Remove roast, shred with a fork, return to juices and serve
Super easy right?! And so delicious - J was ranting and raving on how good it was and he's not an easy critic!
Hope you all give this a try :)
PS - I still owe you guys the Brown Sugar Encrusted Salmon recipe, that I mentioned a couple of weeks back. The next time we make it, I'll be sure to take pics and post the recipe!
Have a great day!
