I'm back today with the rest of our Oregon trip. A couple days after Multnomah Falls we went with some family up to Mount Hood. It was a rainy day so it was pretty cloudy and cold. I thought the clouds looked great around the mountain. It was a beautiful view! We spent the afternoon in the lodge, ate lunch and sat by the huge fireplace.
Another fun part of our trip was going to JZ's aunts house. She's a total animal lover and has goats and donkeys. The kids were so excited because they got to ride "Renee" the donkey - it was pretty cute to watch!
Our last night in town we went to the Portland Aquarium. It was such a neat place! They had many open tanks where we could touch nurse sharks, stingrays, starfish and more! E was a little hesitant to touch, but J looked like he just wanted to dive right into the tanks. Thank goodness I brought extra clothes because he was drenched by the end like he was in the Splash Zone at Sea World!

After the aquarium we went to this restaurant called Hopworks. It was a beer place and it was decorated pretty awesome, the best part was in every room they had tables they had TONS of toys for the kids to play, total win-win, we eat and drink beer and they eat and play - genius!

It was a great trip and we had an awesome time seeing family after four years of not visiting! Until next time!
