Target "Hunter" Rain Boots Review

I have been wanting a pair of rain boots for as long as I can remember.  It's always so rainy here - I think it rains here as much as Seattle... even though our nickname is the "sunshine state" - go figure! Either way, rain boots are needed - but two things always held me back: the price for a pair of Hunter's and the fact that my legs are so skinny I didn't think they'd look good on me.

with my little model Paris ;)

I was on Target's website and decided to see what they had for boots and saw these that look like Hunters, but are less than half the price - what a better way to see if I liked them!  And while reading the reviews, this lady compared them to the quality of Hunter boots.  Whether she was right or not, I'm not sure - but it made me want to try them even more!

Once I got them, I loved the color and the quality was great.  I waited patiently for a rainy day to wear them.  They were extremely comfortable to walk in and didn't hurt my feet at all, but do run a little big.  I'm always a size 6, and these were a bit big even with the thick socks I had on.  They're also a little big around my calves, but that's to be expected since I have skinny legs.

All in all I love them, and will continue to wear them, and honestly you can't beat the price - especially for a shoe that is made to get muddy and dirty.   I've linked a few cute other rain boot options from Target below!

I had a pair of these for three years before they started to give away. I really liked the quality for the price.

These are super cute on you, LOVING the color! We definitely get a lot of rain here, but I think the difference between here and Seattle is it only rains for a little bit and the sun comes back instead of days straight of gloominess and rain :)

I bought a pair last fall and was so excited, but I think they are SO heavy on! I was trudging around with them on and it was not pretty. lol. Glad they work for you though!

1/3 of the price of Hunter boots - you can't beat that!! Ps. if you ever do decide to make the plunge on the Hunters, I have super skinny legs as well and they aren't too baggy (my biggest problem with boots)!
