Favorite Photography Links

I hope you all had a great weekend.  As you read this, we are enjoying beautiful Charleston (follow along our fun on IG).  I made sure I brought my new camera with me so I can practice taking pictures and hopefully get a few good ones!

Is this quote not perfect?

I've been pinning photography tutorials and links like crazy, so I figured I'd round up some of my favorite ones for any of you who are in the same boat as I am and trying to figure out your DLRs or just trying to get some pointers for taking better blog pictures.

Where have you gone to for help with your camera and picture taking?  Have you found any great links?

Great ideas for those wanting to improve their picture taking skills. Me, not so much. I guess I concentrate more on content. My pictures should be better, but honestly, I don't have time. So, I take what I can and sometimes I don't edit because I like the natural state of it. I do like looking at those pictures that have been taken with such care though. Good luck! You will have a ton of opportunities in Charleston. They have beautiful sites to take a photo at.

I definitely need to read these! I've gotten better with my pics but still have a long way to go until they're what I want them to be. I think my main problem is how fast I take them so I don't make sure the lighting is good first. Thanks for sharing!

Thank you for the links! I think the best tip I've seen as of late (and is now my go-to) is to not zoom in, but instead crop, to avoid losing the quality of the image. Cheers to pretty pictures and soon-to-come sips ;)
