I was so excited when I was at Trader Joes and found this almond sparkling wine because way back when, Lindsay had written about an almond champagne that she loves. I couldn't find that champagne anywhere so when I came across this one (for $6 nonetheless) I had to try it!
This sparking wine was SO good; it had such a unique flavor. The best way I can describe it, is a bubbly amaretto - but not as strong or sweet and very light and refreshing, the almond flavor isn't overpowering at all.

I always have my husband open champagnes for me - I'm scared of the popping cork!
This would be the perfect drink for a girl's party. It's so different than any other of the regular bubbly's or moscatos! I will definitely be buying this and keeping it on hand for any time I feel for anything refreshing and a little on the sweet side.

I've heard so many good things about almond flavored champagne but I've never tried it! I definitely need to be on the hunt for this one!

I've always had the Wilsons Creek Almond Champagne, but it's much pricier than this one. I will definitely be on the hunt at Trader Joe's for this bottle of deliciousness :-D

Sounds very interesting!! I prefer a brute champs but maybe I'll dry this one some time. My parents who are fancy wine folks, they had a bottle of the Reserve Cabernet from Trader Joe's and it's actually pretty good. I checked out that rose slideshow/article too. I haven't tried any of those, but I have been loving the french roses. I'll send you some pictures. :-) Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day!

Every time you post about finding wine at Trader Joes I get so jealous, lol! How have I never heard of almond wine before? I love almonds!
I have to find this!! I tried a almond champagne in Napa and loved it - we brought a bottle home but I haven't had any since!
So mad at myself that all of a sudden it's wino Wednesday - and this wino missed the boat! Something about amaretto and I do not agree, but I'm glad you enjoyed this new spin on a classic glass of bubbly! Next month, girl! ;)

Ok so I'm not a huge champagne person and I found an almond sparkling wine in Dallas once and was IN LOVE! It was amazing! I really need to find another one so I'll keep my eye out for this one. There's a Trader Joe's right next to me!
