If there is one style that defined me for home decor, it would be simple and clean and a little rustic - there must also be tons of natural light pouring it, that's a must for me. We lived in a town house before we moved into our house now and there was only ONE sliding glass door downstairs, I hated how dark it always was!
I love looking at pictures on Pinterest and coming up with ideas or just day dreaming. I feel like my house does have that feel to it; but there are so many pictures that make me wish I could change things up at home a little bit. Since our budget doesn't allow for that to happen and since our things are no where near replacing, I figure I'd day dream with my friends here ;)

We've chatted multiple times about how our style is so similar in the home. I love clean lines with a touch of rustic, I think it's something that parlays all trends, don't you?
I love anything light and airy in a home. We don't have a ton of windows in our house and that is one thing I will definitely look for in our next house! And I love lighter kitchens and ours is so dark... sigh... Love all these photos!

I have similar tastes. When we build I hope to make it fall into this design style.
Less is best in my home. I like a lot of light, contemporary pieces that are easy to clean. I want to clean my house in the morning and be done with it. Hate knick knacks and scattered rugs or anything I have to move around to clean.
These are gorgeous! Our home style is a little more of the dark tones, darker woods, browns, and reds, but I LOVE this style!

We get a ton of natural light in our condo. After we got it painted it feels even brighter, I love it. That living room with the colored bottles is pretty. I like a transitional style decor, but I also like rustic chic. You're also so right about dreaming about this Pinterest/drool worthy homes!! :-)
i love the look of clean and simple, but my house does not look like that. i LOVE natural light, but my husband hates it because it heats up the house in the summer.. which i love and he hates lol. we have a lot of browns right now (hand me downs) but one day i want some lighter furniture so hopefully it will brighten the house up!
That bedroom decor with the mixed patterns and fun pillows is calling my name! I love bold colors like that with the neutral walls ;)
