Saturday is National Girlfriend's Day! I thought it would be fun to take a moment and recognize all of our friends.
I remember when I was a teenager, girlfriends were so fleeting. I'm sure it was our immaturity, but girls always fought (mostly about boys) and there was always some form of competetion - which I always found so dumb. I was the girl who always had more guy friends than girl friends, because I wasn't in to all of the drama that came along with girl friends.
Now as an adult, I can't imagine my life without my girls. They are the ones that no matter how much time passes that we talk or hang out we can pick right up. They are the perfect shopping buddy, gossiping buddy. They are the ones you can sit and talk hours with and drink a bottle or two of wine with. They always understand you, your crazy ways, your point of view and you can always be 100% honest with them.
Motherhood has changed my relationship with my other mom friends as well. We can talk about anything mommy related: sleep training, potty training, sicknesses, rashes, terrible 2's, threenagers and there is never any judgement. Instead we are like cheerleaders always on each others side and occasionally we act like doctors too when one of us is freaking out about a sickness that our kid has.
There is no one like a girl friend and I treasure all of mine :) that includes all of my blogging girl friends as well! So Happy National Girlfriends Day to you all! xo

Love this post, and I will definitely be celebrating and honoring my great girl friends in my life. There are definitely people who come and go in your life, but it's the ones who stick by you, and are supportive, never judge you or talk about you behind your back, who are the ones you have to appreciate! Thanks for sharing these fun quotes and sentiments :)
What a great day! All these photos are too adorable. Having great girlfriends in life is such a blessing!
Good girlfriends are the best! People might enter your life as a lesson and that's fine, but the good ones that don't drag you down are friends for life :)!

I love this! Girlfriends definitely become more and more important the older we get. It's like I have learned to really appreciate them and all of the wisdom everyone has from all this life lived :)
What a great tribute to your girls! I've been more thankful than ever for my friends recently - especially those who have already been through a pregnancy. I'll text and ask them random things... much better than google!
