Easy Refreshing Cocktails | Guest Post | Katie Elizabeth

  Hi everyone!  I'm Katie from the Katie Elizabeth blog where I write about a variety of topics including (but not limited to!) life with my husband and Golden Retriever puppy in Michigan, my favorite recipes and my love for any and all beauty products.  I'm so excited to be here on Kids and Cabernet today. Keeping in theme with Amanda's blog and her appreciation of a great adult beverage - one of my favorite things about her :) - I've rounded up five delicious summer cocktails.  These are all super easy to throw together at home (no 15 ingredient lists found here), don't take long to make and promise to keep you perfectly refreshed this summer.    

Champagne Mojitos: Two amazing drinks combined into one?  Yes, please!  Rum, champagne mint, basil and lime.  

Guava Sangria: Sangria is always a must have for summer get togethers.  A mixture of fruits with white and sparkling wine.  

Sweet Tea Julep:  A fun take on the classic Southern drink.  Bourbon, sweet tea, mint and lemon.   

Spicy Grapefruit Margarita:  This one has a very nice kick to it!  Tequila, grapefruit juice, cayenne pepper and lime.  

Moscow Mule: Saving the best for last as it's my VERY favorite drink.  Vodka, ginger beer, mint and lime served in the cutest cooper mugs.    Thanks so much again to Amanda for having me!   Cheers!
