Happy Tuesday!
I hope everyone had a fun weekend! We did, we didn't have any plans since we were supposed to be out of town, but it ended up being a very fun weekend!
Friday started with an evening at one of my bestie's houses. Her husband grilled out and we had margaritas out of mason jars - perfection!
On Sunday we went to an anniversary dinner for some friends. We had so much fun and it felt great getting out of the house without kids, gotta love some adult conversation!
Having Paris around has been fun and also challenging. She's a great dog and knows all of her commands already, but it's like having 3 kids around! Sometimes I second guess our decision to get a dog and then I catch moments like this that melt me.
I FINALLY bought E her quilt set. I found an adorable one at Target that is a little girl in Paris (France, not the dog haha) and I think it goes adorable in her room!
Now we're moving on to buy one for J for his Star Wars room. Sadly none of the Star Wars bedding we've found are really nice nice... except for Pottery Barn Kids (of course!) so we'll be saving to get him one of the ones from there.

All drinks taste better out of a mason jar :) Having a dog is really like having a third child (fills that void, too!) They're challenging, but the unconditional love they give is like nothing else! And no attitude ;)
Everything tastes better out of a mason jar! Dogs are so fun and wonderful but are definitely like having a third child! Especially puppies, they need constant supervision and attention.
I know what you mean about the dog! We have two of those little beasts and they are like kids - work, play, more work and everything in between. But you gotta love them! They bring joy!
