Friday Favorites (5/29)

I'm sure we can all agree that a four day week should be the norm, right?  This week flew by and I caught myself questioning what day of the week it was a couple of times.  It's funny how easy we get thrown off of our routine and schedules!

I'm linking up to share my favorites from the week....

one: I'm LOVING this outfit so much, it's effortless and so pretty!

two:  This article gave some great tips on how to have a stylish house that's is also baby proof.  Once kids come into the picture, decorating is also affected, but this article shows that a home can still be stylish even with kids around.

three:  Wino Wednesday is next week - June 3rd!  We'd love for you to linkup and share your favorite wines!

four: I finally decided what I wanted from the Nordstrom Family and Friends sale and none of it was what I originally had in my cart, ha!

five: Loved this and plan on giving some of these a try when I've had a stressed filled day with the kids.

Have a great weekend!  See you next week!

Love the dress you picked! So pretty. Yes, decorating does change once your kids become mobile! Nothing sitting around on end tables. It kind of turned me into a minimalist. Less for them to knock over or hurt themselves on.
Have a great day!

I love your pics from the Nordstrom sale! I cant wait to hear how you like them! I wanted that dress but I have a long torso and I read in the reviews that the center fold of it is very high. Boo! I am sure it will look lovely on you though. Have a fabulous weekend!

Happy Friday, Amanda!! Swooning over the top in number one. So lovely!! I love that you ended up ordering totally different stuff that what was originally in your Nordstrom cart - lol. I do the same thing! Shop til I find just the right pieces, then end up with not necessarily my first picks, but more like the "best of" from my endless browsing - ha! Random side note -- I love that we both included the same "happy weekend" snap in our Friday posts. You're clearly a girl after my own heart, friend! ;) xo - Brenda // Chatting Over Chocolate

Love that outfit. Totally agree - it's just an easy effortless outfit. As for decorating post-baby... I've just left everything out! I don't have anything precious. I figure accidents will happen, but knew learning how to be gentle and hold things carefully is an important life skill. So yeah, I say keep the house decorated! Love the article's point of making sure the house is still decorated, while making sure things are kid friendly! Hope you had a great weekend!!
