Good Morning!
I hope everyone had a great weekend. We're back from our fun few days at Disney! We got there on Thursday afternoon and decided to go to Magic Kingdom for a bit. We stayed at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds and Hotel (more on that later) and were able to take a boat straight to MK which was so fun and pretty! We went on a couple rides then headed back to our cabin to meet my husband's brother and his wife who were spending the weekend with us, and eat dinner.
Friday we started the morning off going to Hollywood Studio's to try to get J to go on the Star Tours ride or fight Darth Vader and Storm Troopers but he was either too short or too young, so we headed back to Magic Kingdom and spent the rest of the day.
Saturday we hung out all day at the Fort Wilderness Campground. There's so many fun things to do there - it is hands down my favorite Disney hotel we've ever stayed at, not to mention the grounds are so pretty! We brought the kids' bikes (rentals are also available) and we walked most of the grounds - which are huge! The kids went on pony rides, which they LOVED! In the evening we went to the Fort Wilderness Campfire which had Chip and Dale mingling with the crowd, after that there was a campfire singalong. A man came on stage with a guitar and sang tons of songs nursery rhymes, country songs and Disney songs. The kids were singing and dancing like crazy, which was cute to see!
Yesterday after we got back, we went to our friend's house for a Superbowl party. I don't understand football at all, but love a Superbowl party - the food is always so good, and then there's the Halftime show. I'm not a huge Katy Perry fan, but I thought she did a great job, and I loved when Missy Elliot came on and sang all of those old school songs!
All in all, it was a pretty awesome weekend! How was yours?
