Five on Friday

It's finally here - FRIDAY!!!!  And for some it's a holiday weekend so it's a 3 day weekend :) I hope everyone has had a great week.  I'm liking up with Christina and a few other cool chicks for Five on Friday!

one: Daylight savings time - ugh this week has been rough with the time change.  The kiddos were extra cranky and I really don't like this change either.  It feels so much later all day and it gets dark so early.  Here's to hoping next week the kids and I will be better acclimated with the time

two: We are going to have a kid FREE weekend this weekend!  I'm SO excited!!  We're going to Tampa with our really good friends, staying at a nice hotel and going to a Monday night football game.  This is the second time we do a weekend away without the kids, and I came back recharged and refreshed the last time.  I'm so happy we have our moms who are always willing to babysit and our good friends who we have a blast with!

three: I'm kind of obsessed with entryways I think.  They always catch my eye when I'm on Pinterest and the sad thing is my entryway sucks!  I need to take some pointers and spruce it up a notch.  How gorgeous is this entryway?!  By the way, click on here to see the rest of this stunning house - amazing!

four:  I'm dying to try this Chicken Lo Mein Recipe it seems extremely easy, tasty, healthy and it's a one pot meal - what's better than that?!

five:  Love this quote (and reminder)

Have a great weekend!!!

Yum, that chicken lo mein looks so good and so easy! Daylight savings time has been throwing me off too... especially the getting dark at 4:45 pm. The worst. Sounds like you are going to have a fun weekend, enjoy!!

Yes I hate daylight savings! Getting dark at five is really depressing. I love entry ways too and have been toying with the idea of creating one of our own, but there isn't much space...oh and having a kid free weekend sounds awesome, have fun!

I agree with the daylight savings time, not a fan of coming home from work & it feeling like 10pm!! Enjoy your kids free weekend :)

Enjoy your kid-free weekend!! We're both off on Monday and are probably going to do a few day dates. Kid-free time is so mandatory once and a while!!

Just found your blog on the link up! I am so indecisive about my entryway. I am constantly buying things and then returning them, which drives my husband crazy!

I hope you are having a great weekend away without the kiddos, much needed sometimes! And I have to say (not to make YOU jealous =) ) but my little man took to the time change perfectly and is on his normal schedule. I was SO surprised!
