Weekend Happenings...

Good morning!  I hope you all had a great weekend!  We had a pretty nice one full of friends and good food.

On Friday hubby and I put the kids to sleep an caught up on some of our DVR from the week since we were out of town.  One of the shows we saw Jay Leno's last show, it was so sad and a great tribute.  I'm so excited to see Jimmy Fallon take over though, he's hilarious.  I drank wine and cuddled on the couch it was a nice relaxing evening.

Saturday we had our friends over that we haven't seen in a long time.  We made a yummy dinner, we made Paula Deen's Barbeque Meatloaf.  It was delicious!  We made it with some mashed potatoes.  I didn't get any pictures that night.

Yesterday we had a girls night.  We went to this cute restaurant called Cafe Europa.  We had a great time! We shared a few dishes and had some wine.  Girls nights are so necessary.  It's nice to step away from the kids and be able to enjoy an evening of hanging with the girls.

I love white lights on trees

This wine was pretty good, I got annoyed when my friend said at Publix it sells for like $13 though.  We paid $36, not terribly expensive, it's just the mark-up of liquor is crazy!!

How was your weekend?

Girls' nights are pretty much the best thing ever. I really like that wine too. It's so good for the price (the usual price) and I always get it for the hubs ;) Happy Monday! xo
